In the name of God Amen the sixth day of April in the year of our Lord God 1604 I Thomas Noice of Ffulway, in the parish of Allcannings, in the county of Wilts and diocese of Sarum being in good and perfect remembrance, I give thanks to God, although sick in body, do make and ordain my testament containing therein my last will in manner and form following. First I commend my soule to Almighty God through the ? and passion of my Lord Jesus Christ and my body to be buried in the chappell of Chirton. Item I give and bequeath to the Cathedral Church of Sarum XII d Item I give and bequeath to the parish church of All Cannings XII d. Item I give and bequeath to Anne one of my childrens children one baron and a lamb apiece. Item I give and bequeath more Margaret Pottenger one heffer of three years old. Item I give and bequeath to William Noyes my son XX s. Item I give and bequeath to Thomas the son of Robert Noyes all my right stake title and interest of and in one parcel of five lands containing five acres of arable land with one little plot of meade, set lying and being in Long Street in the parish of Enford with all common and feeding appertaining and belonging to the same to him his heirs and assigns forever, yielding and paying therefore yearly forever the sum of one pound of lawful money of England in, at or upon the feast of Saynt Mychaell the ArcAngell to my son William his heirs if it be demanded. And further my will is that my sayd son William Noyes shall yearly assign and deliver to the said Thomas Noyes his heirs and assigns such good and deed or deeds of ? by his learned counsel shall be thought good. Item I give and bequeath to Robert Noyes my son Ten pounds of lawful money of England to be paid at the feast of Saynt Mychaell next after my decease. Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Edwards the son of John Edwards one heffer of two years old. Item I give and bequeath to each of my God children XII d apiece. Item I give and bequeath to the poor of All Cannings and Ashlington XX s to be delivered by the discretion of my overseers. All the rest of my goods cattels and chattels moveable and unmoveable my debts payd funeral expenses discharged , I give and bequeath wholey unto Alice my wife whom I make and ordain sole executrix of this my last will and testament, and I do ? Jeffere Pottenger and Thomas Hearne to be my overseers to see this my will performed and for their paynes I give to each of them ? s.
