The thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred and sixteen I William Noyse of Manningford Bowndes in the parish of Wilsford in the County of Wilts and diocese of Sarum being sick and weak in body but of good and perfect memory God be thanked therefore do make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I bequeath my soul into the merciful hands of Almighty God trusting to be saved by his mercy through the merritts of his son Jesus Christ my only Saviour and redeemer. And my body interred in the parish church or Wilsford aforesaid. And as touching my temporal goods I dispose as followeth.

Imprimis unto my loving wife Dorothy Noice the lease of my house at Manningford during my sister Margery Rouse her life towards the breeding up of my children. Item my will and meaning is further that my well beloved friends in Christ William Webb of Manningford Bowndes aforesaid Gent and John Mundy of Charlton yeoman and William Lavington of Lahill shall have my lease of Wilcot with all my goods movable and unmovable either to let or sell it at their discretion towards the satisfaction of my debts. And if my goods will satisfy my debts then my meaning is that if my lease be sold the overplus of the money shall be equally divided between my wife and five children. And I do appoint my loving friends aforesaid my overseers to see this my last Will.
