IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN The Tenth days of Aprill Anno Domini 1631 I William Noyes of Fullways in the parish of Allcannings in the County of Wilts yeoman being att this present in good health and perfect memory God be praised for it) but stricken with old age And seeing it hath pleased Almighty god of his infinite goodnesse and mercy to bestowe mee an Estate in this world of Lands goods and Chattells am desirous to settle it in my lift tyme to avoyde all future troubles Doe therefore make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge First and principally I give and bequeath my soule into the hand of Almighty God my Creator assuredly hoping by the death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to be partaker of life everlasting And I commend my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in the Church of Etchilampton Item I give to the Cathedrall Church of Sarum twelve pence Item I give to the Church of Etchilhampton five shillings Item I give to the poore of Fullways Five shillings Item I give to my kinswoman Jane Hobbs five pound to be payd her within six months next after my decease Item I give to every of my son Robert Noyes Children six pounds thirteen shillings four pence apeece to be imployed to their best advantage Item I give unto my brother Robert Noyes all my wearing apparrell of what sorte soever And further my Will is that my Executor shall yearly pay unto my said brother Robert Noies twentie shillings to be quarterly paid him during his life Item I give to my loving wife Mary Noies the use of the Bedds bedding and furniture that is in my Chamber I usually lodge in duringe her widdowhood Item I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Noies all my lande lyinge in Coate in the parish of Bishops Cannings and in Fullway To hold to him and to his heires for ever And all the rest of my goods and Chattells Lands and tenements moveable and unmoveable my funerall expenses discharged I give and bequeath to my said sonne Robert Noies whome I make the whole and sole Executor of all the rest of my goods and Chattells lands and tenements whatsoever And lastly I desire my loving brother in lawes and frieds William Mandrell and John Long of Tilshead to be my Overseers of this my last will and testament and I give to each of them for their paines herein v s In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daye and yeare first above written William Noies signed sealed and published in the presence of John Sedcome and William Dorchester.
