In the name of God Amen The twentieth day of November in the tenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord Charles by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith Anno domini 1634 I Robert Noise of Shodsden within the parish of Kimpton in the County of Southampton yeoman being weak in body but perfect in mind and of good remembrance thanks be to God therefore do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First I bequeath my soule into the merciful hands of Almighty God my Creator of Jesus Christ my redeemer and of the holy ghost my sanctifier. And I bequeath my body to the earth to be decently buried in the churchyard of Kimpton aforesaid, with full assurance of a joyful resurrection. Concerning my temporal goods whatsoever movable or unmovable I give and dispose of them all as followeth. Imprimis I give and bequeath to the cathedral church of Winchester one shilling. Item I give and bequeath to my parish church of Kimpton aforesaid one shilling. Item I give and bequeath to my brother in law Edward Blackman the elder ten sheep, as they shall come out of the fold or ______ , all my hoggs or swine and all my household stuff and other movable goods whatsoever in my house, bar___ or elsewhere four harrows and my part of five horses and two carts only excepted. In consideration where of I do also will and appoint, that she paid Edward Blackman the elder shall paid unto his daughter Mary Beale five pounds of current English money. Item I give and bequeath unto my kinsman Edward Blackman the younger my said four harrows, and all my part of the five horses and two carts aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath to my sister Margaret Blackman wife of the said Edward Blackman the elder twenty shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to my kinsman Robert Noise, son of my brother Richard Noise deceased twenty shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to my kinswoman Amy Noise daughter of my said brother Richard Noise ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to Margery my kinswoman and daughter of my said brother Richard Noise ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to my sister in law Katherine Noise of Tangly widow ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to all the children of my brother John Noise of Bidsden in the parish of Lurgishall in the County of Wilts yeoman each of them ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to all the children of Edward Blackman the younger aforesaid my kinsman each of them ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to the two children of Thomas Earle of Lurgishall aforesaid yeoman each of them ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to the two children of William Collins of Lurgishall aforesaid chandler, each of them ten shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Crom__ servant of my brother in law Edward Blackman the elder five shillings of current English money. Item I give and bequeath to the poor of the parish of Kimpton aforesaid, two bushels of wheat, or the value thereof in money according as to my executor hereafter nominated, shall in discretion think _______ and _____. Item I give and bequeath to the poor of the parish of Lurgishall aforesaid two bushels of wheat likewise or the value thereof in money, as to my said executor in his wisdom and discretion, shall seem to be most ______ and _______. The rest and residue of all my goods and substances whatsoever movable and unmovable, together with one lease of my tenancies and yard lands in Shodsden aforesaid for the whole term of one and twenty years next coming after my decease, I give and bequeath to my brother John Noise of Bidsden aforesaid whom I do make and ordain and appoint my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof to this my said last will I have set my hand and seale the day and year first above written in the presence of such persons whose names are here subscribed.
