In the name of God Amen I Robert Noyes of Wedhampton in the Parish of Erchfont within the the County of Wilts husbandman being sick in body but whole in mind and of good and perfect memory praised be God for the same do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. That is to say first and primarily I give and bequeath my soule unto my saviour Jesus Christ and my body to be buried at the parish church of Erchfont. Item I give and bequeath unto the cathedral church of Sarum XII d and to the parish church of Erchfont II d and to the poor of the parish of Erchfont ? d. Item I give and bequeath unto Robert the son of my daughter Mary ? pound (heffer and bullock?). Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Noyes XII d and to my son William XII d and to my son Robert XII d and to my son Richard XII d. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Nicholas Noyes ? pound. Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Noyes X pounds and to my daughter Ellinor Noyes X pounds to be paid unto them at the decease of my wife, all the rest of my goods and chattels as well moveable and unmoveable I give and bequeath unto Alice Noyes my wife whom I make my sole executrix unto this my last will and testament and I also make my honest neighbours John Smith and Robert Durrell my overseers hereunto and do give unto them XII d apeace. In witness whereof I the said Robert Noyes unto this my last will and testament have put my hand and seale the thirtieth day of August in the year of our Lord 1636.
