In the name of God Amen I Thomas Noyes of Tangly in the County of Southampton yeoman being in good health and of sound mind and memory considering the uncertainty of life do make my last will and testament. I resign my soul to almighty god hoping for salvation through the merritts of my redeemer Jesus Christ as to my worldly estate I dispose thereof as follows. I give and bequeath to my brother John Noyes ten pounds to be paid to him within one year after my decease also I give and bequeath to my brother Robert Noyes ten pounds to be paid to him within one year after my decease also I give and bequeath to my brother William Noyes ten pounds to be paid to him within one year after my decease. I give and devise my lands tenement and hereditaments at Tangly in the county of Southampton to my brother Joseph Noyes and the heirs of his body lawfully issuing and for want of such issue I give and devise my lands tenements and hereditaments at Tangly as aforesaid to my brother Peter Noyes. Lastly, I give and bequeath to my sister Sarah the wife of Thomas Kent for her life one annuity of forty shillings to be paid clear of all tariffs and deductions and yearly . Also I give and bequeath to my executor herein after named all my debts money and goods of what nature and condition the same be subject. Lastly I make and constitute my brother Joseph Noyes and my brother Peter Noyes my joint executors of this my last Will and Testament. I do hereby charge all my estate with the payment of all my just debts and the legacys. I revoke all former and other Wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will in witness whereof I the said Thomas Noyes the testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the twenty eighth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty three.

 

Thomas Noyes signed sealed published and declared by the testator Thomas Noyes as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
