In the name of God Amen I Mary Noyes of Vernham's Dean in the county of Southampton widow being of sick and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding and being willing and desirous to settle and dispose of my worldly estate and effects so that no disputes or contestors may arise touching the same after my decease do therefore make publish and disclose this my Last Will and Testament in manner following (I that is to say) first I will that all my just debts and financial expenses shall be satisfied and paid by my executors hereinafter named. Item I give and divise unto my kinsman Samuel Helleir of Clatford in the county of aforesaid Millor - All that my house messuage or tenement garden and premises situate lying and being in Chute in the county of Wilts which was given and bequeathed unto me in and by the Last Will and Testament of Thomas Lewis my late father deceased to hold unto the said Samuel Hellier his heirs and assigns for ever from and immediately after the decease of my mother in law Mary Noyes and I also give and bequeath unto the said Samuel Hellier all my moneys securities for money household goods and all other my real and personal estate whatsoever and whosoever to hold to him the said Samuel Hellier his heirs and executors and administrators and lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Samuel Hellier to be executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made and disclaiming this only to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof the said Mary Noyes have this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the twelfth day of November 1783.

 

Signed sealed published by the above named Mary Noyes the testatrix as and her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other.
